TRIPLE POLE PRESSURE SWITCHES TYPE: PR, PRV, PRX & PRVX.
- PR Type: Switches are without unloader valve & on/off knob.
- PRX Type: With on/off knob but without unloader valve.
- PRVX Type: With on/off knob & unloader valve.
- PRV Type: PRV type switches are relieves the pressure over the compressor piston when the electric motor stops by providing an unloader valve hence, when the compressor starts again there is no gauge pressure on the compressor piston and as a result it increases the life of electric Motor & compressor.
Medium Temperature: They can withstand temperature of medium up to 100 c. (211 f) for Air and water.
Mounting on Compressor: The pressure switches are designed for fitting to the air receiver by means of the connection – (10)
Operating Principles: PR, PRV switches have a triple pole cut out, the position of which depends upon the pressure at pipe connection (10) and set pressure. Turning the regulating nut (6) towards (+) increases the cut out pressure, whereas turning towards (-) reduces the cut out pressure cut in pressure is the difference between cut out pressure and differential turning regulating screw (2) towards (+) increases the differential (reduces cut in pressure) whereas turning towards (-) reduces the differential (increase cut in pressure).
PR, PRV, PRX & PRVX type Switches are uses for automatically start & stop motors of compressors and pressurised water plants.
